Senior Insolvency Administrator
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE + Benefits + Hybrid Working
The Opportunity
An established and highly regarded insolvency and restructuring practice is seeking an experienced Senior Insolvency Administrator to join its Glasgow office.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative and professional team, managing a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency appointments whilst working closely with experienced Insolvency Practitioners. The successful candidate will enjoy genuine responsibility, exposure to complex assignments and a clear pathway for continued career progression.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from appointment through to closure, ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately and in accordance with statutory requirements.
Appointments will typically include:

Administrations
-
Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs)

Members’ Voluntary Liquidations (MVLs)

Compulsory Liquidations
-
Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs)
Key Responsibilities
-
Managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from inception through to closure.

Preparing statutory reports, case documentation and correspondence.

Liaising with directors, creditors, accountants, solicitors and other stakeholders.

Conducting investigations into company affairs and director conduct.
-
Managing asset realisations and progressing cases efficiently.

Ensuring compliance with insolvency legislation and regulatory requirements.

Assisting Insolvency Practitioners with complex assignments where required.

Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.

Maintaining excellent client service throughout each engagement.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should possess:

A minimum of four years’ experience within corporate insolvency.

Experience managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases with minimal supervision.

A sound technical understanding of UK insolvency legislation and procedures.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A professional and proactive approach to client service.

CPI qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous but is not essential.
