Senior Healthcare Assistant Outpatients Competitive Salary Shawfair Park – Edinburgh Part Time – 30 hours per week Permanent
Spire Shawfair Park Hospital are looking to recruit a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our fantastic Outpatients team on a part time basis.
Duties and responsibilities:
- In this fast-paced role, you will be required to assist our Clinical team in providing exemplary Care within the Outpatients department, whilst providing Healthcare Assistance to our Nursing team
- As a Healthcare Assistant, duties will include routine tasks related to the delivery of care to ensure our patient’s health and well-being
- You will move and set up diagnostic equipment (after training) and other resources, as well as applying technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
Who we’re looking for:
- You will need to have experience working as a HCA in a hospital or GP setting
- Phlebotomy experience is essential
- Knowledge of ECG’S is desirable
- Simple Dressings and Wound Care experience is essential
- Chaperoning is desirable
- Application of splints is desirable
