Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the East Caithness Health and Social Care Team based at Pulteney House, Wick. This role is part of a multidisciplinary team working with patients in their own homes to provide holistic care and support people in maintaining independence after leaving hospital.
Responsibilities
- Assist with enabling people to maintain independence at home and support them after they have left hospital.
- Provide high standards of patient care in support of the team to ensure delivery of a high quality service to the local community.
- Use own initiative and remain flexible to meet changing service requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Driving licence essential; applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes.
- Experience not required, although beneficial.
- Full training will be provided, and the applicant may complete an SVQ in Health & Social Care.
Working Hours and Schedule
Permanent part time post of 17.27 hours, 5:00pm to 10:00pm, 4 days on, 4 days off or in line with service requirements.

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship.
