A well-established, independent financial adviser firm based in central Edinburgh, specialising in holistic financial planning, seeks an experienced Technical IFA Support Administrator to join its support team. The role involves providing comprehensive technical and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the advice process.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing client meeting packs and related documentation
  • Liaising with product providers, platforms, and third parties
  • Supporting with basic suitability and technical report preparation
  • Managing adviser diaries and coordinating client appointments
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients, handling queries in a professional and timely manner
  • General IFA administrative duties throughout the client lifecycle

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a few years’ experience (ideally 5) working within an IFA or financial planning firm
  • Solid grounding in the financial services industry and adviser support processes
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills when dealing with clients and providers
  • Proactive, team-focused approach
  • Progress toward CII or equivalent financial services exams would be advantageous
