Senior Events Manager
Senior Events Manager – adviser focused events, responsible for strategy, planning and end to end delivery of events that support commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the adviser events strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
- Plan and manage an annual schedule of events, including technical and regulatory webinars, best practice sessions and face to face adviser roadshows.
- Lead the end to end delivery of all events, from concept and content development to live delivery and post event follow up.
- Act as the primary owner and subject matter expert for event platforms and suppliers, including BrightTALK and Cvent.
- Work closely with Distribution and Technical to shape relevant adviser centric content, and with Compliance and Risk to ensure regulatory and governance compliance.
- Manage external suppliers, venues, and production partners, ensuring high quality delivery and value for money.
- Own the events budget, forecast costs and manage spend effectively.
- Define and track success measures for events, using data and adviser feedback to continuously improve content, format, and performance.
- Provide clear reporting and insight to stakeholders on engagement, outcomes, and learnings.
Candidate Requirements
- Significant experience delivering events within financial services, ideally in platform settings.
- Proven experience delivering both webinars and face to face events at scale.
- Proficient in event technology with hands on experience of using BrightTALK and Cvent.
- Experience using Salesforce and Marketing Cloud desirable.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative, proactive, and highly organised approach.
- Good understanding of the UK financial adviser market and the requirements of a regulated environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours to support events and travel as required.
