This role includes responsibility for electrical engineering deliverables spanning the full project lifecycle-from early stage electrical system design to offshore and onshore substations, grid connection infrastructure, power system studies and support in the grid compliance process. The position will support the industry leading offshore wind development, Berwick Bank Wind Farm, helping drive innovation, sustainability, and technical excellence across our growing portfolio.

You will

  • Deliver electrical engineering design activities for Berwick Bank Windfarm, including developing and managing electrical contract documentation such as substation and electrical balance of plant specifications, scopes and works information.
  • Prepare, review and update technical specifications for substations and associated electrical equipment while ensuring compliance with technical, safety and quality requirements through contractor and supplier design reviews.
  • Support successful project delivery by attending Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) for major substation components and electrical systems across complex offshore developments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, external stakeholders and supply chain partners to coordinate engineering activities and support project execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation and engineering best practice within the Electrical Engineering function.

You have
