Senior Early Years Intervention Officer
Waverley Court
Salary: £40,501 – £47,639 (pro-rata for sessional)
Hours: 36 per week, 39 weeks sessional
This post provides an excellent opportunity for anyone who has a degree within early years or is working towards a degree qualification.
Equity and Excellence Leads (EELs) are allocated to identified settings and work directly with children. As part of the role there is ongoing high quality CLPL to support intervention work which will improve outcomes for some of our youngest learners.
Responsibilities
- Allocate EELs to identified settings and work directly with children.
- Deliver high quality CLPL to support intervention work.
- Improve outcomes for young learners through targeted interventions.
Qualifications
- Degree in early years or an equivalent qualification.
- Ability to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 scheme or complete an update check.
- Provision of an overseas criminal record check if spent 3 months or more out of the UK in the last 5 years.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
