Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer for a leading company in the oil and gas sector, based in Aberdeen. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on innovative projects in well completion technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review engineering designs and technical drawings using AutoCAD and CADWORKS.
- Lead the design, testing, and qualification of new products and equipment.
- Collaborate with clients on specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee prototype design, assembly, and testing in the workshop.
- Manage project documentation, design approvals, and reporting.
Requirements
- Degree in Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of API manufacturing standards and packer design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and CADWORKS.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
