SENIOR CLINICAL FELLOWS (ST3+) & CLINICAL FELLOWS

Fixed Term (Up to 24 Months)

Both Part Time and Full Time (Up to 40 hours)

£47,438 – £62,758 + Banding supplement

We are seeking to recruit a number of Senior Clinical Fellow (ST3+) and Clinical fellow vacancies within General Medicine based at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. These posts are fixed term for up to 24 months from August 2026, full time & part time with a Banding supplement where appropriate.

You will work across acute medicine and your interested specialist ward at Resident or Senior grade level. You will have the opportunity to manage a range of acute medical problems and to develop your clinical leadership within these areas. You will have the opportunity to develop clinical skills aligned with acute medicine and to practice them regularly. You will be expected to manage patients as a senior decision maker under the guidance of a consultant physician. There is also the opportunity to participate in a range of speciality outpatient clinics.

In addition to clinical management we would expect you to develop other roles in the department, such as quality improvement or service development.

Raigmore Hospital, Inverness is a modern approx. 454 bed hospital, and is the main referral centre for the Highlands of Scotland.
