Clinical Fellow in Neonatology

The post is a 1 year fixed term, full time (40 hours per week) position based in the neonatal unit of the Simpson Centre for Reproductive Health at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality training and experience in neonatal neurology.
- Have protected time for neonatal neurology during daytime hours.
- Contribute fully to the neonatal service middle grade out of hours rota, gaining clinical experience at senior registrar level/post CCT level.
- Work within a neonatal neurology team, delivering patient care and participating in clinical governance activities.
Qualifications
- Suitable for an individual in a training programme who can obtain approved time out of programme for experience (OOPE).
- Alternatively, suitable for a person who is CCT d or is not presently in a UK training programme and has relevant clinical experience.
This post is not part of an approved UK clinical training programme but is designed to provide protected training time for suitable candidates.
