Senior Civil Engineer
Glasgow
First People Solutions is recruiting for a leading consulting engineer in Glasgow.
This company has built a strong and stable presence across civil, structural, and infrastructure engineering, and are recognised as a well-respected consultancy. They’ve received multiple industry awards for sustainability, design excellence, and innovation, with several projects celebrated for their cultural and environmental impact.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to take a lead role within their Glasgow office. They are looking for a hands-on lead who can provide day-to-day guidance and support to a team of graduate engineers and technicians.
Your experience, background and approach to work will include:
- 8-12 years of experience working within a design engineering environment with strong technical and design capability
- Skilled in the design of road and drainage infrastructure for small to medium sized development projects. Solid understanding of current standards, SUDS requirements and best practices essential
- Proficient with Civil 3D and InfoDrainage software
- Confident working directly with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior engineers
- Chartered or working toward chartered status
