Exciting Opportunity: Senior Charge Nurse – Frailty Unit, Forth Valley Royal Hospital
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Charge Nurse to join the Frailty Unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. This pivotal role offers the chance to lead and develop a team focused on improving the care journey for frail patients presenting with acute medical needs.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of leading a team, a strong clinical interest in frailty syndromes, and the ability to manage complex care and discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within a multidisciplinary team, including AHPs, psychiatric liaison, consultants, discharge coordinators, community teams, and social services.
- Coordinate early screening, assessment, and intervention for frail patients.
- Provide leadership and support to the team.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Ward management experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and IT skills.
- Flexible approach to work.
