Pay Rate: Up to £28.13 per hour (including holiday pay)
What You’ll Do:
- Provide high quality, person centred care and support the wider clinical team.
- Carry out a range of clinical tasks, including taking observations, supporting wound care, collecting specimens, assisting with catheter and stoma care, and contributing to ongoing monitoring of patients’ physical status.
- Work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans, maintain accurate documentation, support junior healthcare assistants, and promote high standards of practice.
- Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment, follow infection prevention procedures, report concerns promptly, and ensure equipment and supplies are well managed.
- Contribute to health promotion activities and support patients with long term conditions, frailty, and end of life care, ensuring a compassionate and respectful approach throughout.

Qualifications:
Right to work in the UK. A minimum 6 months of paid UK care experience within the last 3 years, working in a Senior Healthcare Assistant role.
Proven experience managing a shift in a care home setting (Required).
SVQ Level 3 qualification with proven experience in medication administration.
Registration: Applicants in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland will require the relevant registration (e.g., SSSC, SCW, NISSC – not applicable in England).
