Pay Rate: Up to £18.35 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As aSeniorCare Assistant, you’ll be providing vital support to service users in care homes.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing high-quality, person centred care and supporting patients with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Carrying out clinical tasks within your competency, including observations, wound care, specimen collection, and catheter and stoma care.
  • Working alongside nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver care plans, maintain accurate records, and support junior healthcare assistants.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean clinical environment, following infection control procedures, and communicating effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Supporting health promotion, long term condition management, frailty, and end of life care with compassion and dignity.

A minimum 6 months of paid UK care experience within the last 3 years, working in a Senior Healthcare Assistant role.

Proven experience managing a shift in a care home setting (Required)

SVQ LEVEL 3 Qualification with proven experience in medication administration

Registration: Applicants in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland will require the relevant registration e.g., SSSC, SCW, NISSC (not applicable in England).

Skills: Knowledge of care equipment and moving & handling.
