Here are some of the duties your role will include:
- Leading compliance with company commercial and procurement policies, processes, procedures and relevant legislation
- Supporting senior procurement colleagues across all parts of high value and complexity strategic procurements
- Leading day to day procurement of lower value goods, services and works contracts to support delivery colleagues
- Targeting specific categories of spend and/or suppliers to identify how tangible improvements may be made to the procurement processes
- Expert user and Regional lead on all strategic sourcing and procurement related systems and processes
- Supporting senior commercial and procurement staff in the development and implementation of national strategies as required
- Acting as the primary interface with business users to communicate the benefits of new contracts and suppliers
