Senior Accounts Assistant £28,000 – £33,000 DOE West End, GlasgowMonday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pmI am recruiting on behalf of my established client in the West End of Glasgow for an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant. In this role, you will support a small finance team with transactional finance. The company operates an agile workforce, so candidates can expect a variety of tasks. My client seeks someone keen to become an expert in their field and offers development opportunities, such as funding for AAT/ACCA qualifications. Only experienced individuals competent in transactional finance should apply.Key Responsibilities:- Processing sales invoices and managing accounts receivable- Credit control and resolving invoice disputes with customers and suppliers- Supplier and customer statement reconciliations- Managing accounts receivable and payable mailboxes- Daily reporting of issued invoices and cash received- Bank account reconciliations and credit card transaction processing- Supporting monthly financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations- Providing ad-hoc financial data analysis and supporting external audit queriesRequirements:- Solid experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable- Proficient with accounting systems and financial data analysis- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Ability to work collaboratively at all levels and on own initiative- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail- High proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointDesirable:- Part-qualified accountant- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite or similar cloud-based accounting software- Experience with multicurrency transactionsIf you are eager to learn and expand your skills in different business areas, we encourage you to apply!To take the next step in your career, please contact Eilidh Smith at or call .
