Overview
Security Officer – Location: Diageo, Leven; Working pattern: 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off shift pattern; Hourly rate: £13.95; Contract type: Permanent
What you’ll do
- Monitor and control site access through gatehouse duties
- Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the premises
- Operate security systems and maintain detailed incident reports
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and emergency services when required
- Deliver exceptional customer service to staff and visitors
- Remain alert and proactive in identifying potential security risks
What you bring
- SIA Frontline Licence (essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (minimum age 25+ due to vehicle insurance policy)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- IT literacy and ability to complete basic written reports
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, including weekends and public holidays
- Previous security experience is desirable but not essential
Pre-employment requirements
This role requires successful candidates to complete security vetting prior to appointment.
