Security Officer – Airdrie
Laing O’Rourke, C/O of SelectSecurity are recruiting a new member for our Security team working on one of our new projects in the Airdrie region. The role will be working Monday Friday with possible OT when required, covering a 12 hour shift (60 hours per week) on a long term basis.
We are looking for experienced officers to apply with good security and vehicle awareness to ensure the safety of our construction teams and members of the public. As the eyes and ears of the logistics team for the project, you will keep watch of the construction site and access routes to ensure no unauthorised intruders or members of public inadvertently stray into the unsafe area.

What we are looking for
- Valid SIA license in either security guarding, door supervisor, or close protection
- Banksman and/or traffic marshal training (not essential as training can be given)
- A sound communicator, both written and spoken
- Someone who can work well within a large security team and with others within the project
- A strong customer focus and customer service skills
- A professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity
