Job Description

I am currently working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are looking to hire an experienced Section Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operate across the power & energy sector.

Section Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the project management team.
  • Manage and mentor the engineers on site.
  • Order materials.
  • Ensuring health and safety compliance.
  • Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
  • Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
  • Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.

Section Engineer Requirements:

  • Willingness to work away from home.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • CSCS card – Gold/Black.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Previous experience as a Section Engineer or Sub Agent.
  • Strong communication skills.
