37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging English lessons that inspire a love of reading, writing and communication.
  • Support pupils with Autism and additional needs to achieve their full potential.
  • Plan, assess and monitor progress to ensure outstanding outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and families.
  • Use innovative and autism specific teaching strategies to maximise engagement.
  • Set ambitious targets and support pupils to achieve meaningful progress.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and whole school improvement initiatives.

About You

  • Qualified with a Degree and UK QTS.
  • Passionate about English and inclusive education.
  • Experience working with young people with Autism, SEN and complex needs.
  • Creative, adaptable and able to inspire learners of all abilities.
  • Confident communicator who builds strong relationships.
  • Calm, resilient and positive when faced with challenges.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
  • Dedicated to continuous professional development and excellence in teaching.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Desirable).
