SCOTTISH GAELIC MEDIA ENGAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE
Allstaff Professional Services Division are looking for a SCOTTISH GAELIC MEDIA ENGAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE to attend an event on 12th – 13th October at City of Glasgow College.
Hourly rate of £16 per hour (Subsistence and local daily travel costs included) plus paid two hour training via teams before the event. Location Mòd Ghlaschu 2026: City of Glasgow College. This role is for an independent media research company helping global clients understand their audiences. The response panel, Survey PRAEG, gives viewers and listeners the opportunity to share their experiences and contribute to a better understanding of Gaelic broadcasting.
What you’ll be doing:
- Engaging with festival visitors in Gaelic and English
- Promoting our weekly viewing and listening surveys
- Encouraging people to join our audience research panels
- Representing the organisation and building connections within the Gaelic-speaking community
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Fluent in written and spoken Scottish Gaelic and confident communicating in English
- Outgoing, approachable and loves meeting new people
- Passionate about Gaelic culture and its representation in broadcasting
It would be great if you are also:
- Someone who has strong connections to and knowledge of the Gaelic-speaking community.
