Scaffold Labourer

Job Description

Altrad is seeking an asbestos operative trained (ARCA / ACAD) Scaffold Labourer to support scaffold and site operations on a newly established project at Dounreay.

Location: Dounreay. Closing date: 31 Jul :00 AM.

Work pattern: 10/4, 07:00 to 17:00. This fixed term position ends December 2027 approximately. Start date is July/August pending successful SC Clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting scaffolders and site teams with day to day activities
• Movement and handling of materials and equipment
• General housekeeping and maintaining work areas
• Assisting with loading/unloading deliveries
• Supporting safe access and site set up activities
• Following site safety rules, procedures and instructions
• Assisting with general site duties as required

Key Requirements

• Must be SC cleared or willing to undergo clearance
• Must be asbestos operative trained ARCA or ACAD
• Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) cards for Scaffold Labourers

Project operates on a 10 day fortnight rota. Week 1 – Monday to Sunday – 07:00 to 17:00. Week 2 – Monday to Wednesday – 07:00 to 17:00.
