Research Nurse Oncology Cancer Trials

With the clinical research portfolio in NHS Grampian continuing to expand, we are looking for a nursing professional to be part of an exciting and challenging research post, which will be based in the Oncology research department within ARI. This post could be suitable as a secondment.
We are looking to recruit an innovative and enthusiastic registered nurse with experience in clinical research. Previous experience within oncology would be advantageous. Without the required experience, this post would be offered as a band 5.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct care and treatments for participants of oncology research trials.
- Conduct trial set up processes, recruit participants, monitor study patients, collect accurate data, and liaise with data monitors.
- Perform duties under the direction of oncologists, with additional guidance from the research team and senior oncology research nurse.
- Work as part of a well established team of research nurses and data managers.
- Maintain excellent communication skills, work flexibly in response to study challenges, and manage a caseload to the highest clinical research standards.
