Sales Manager – Agricultural Sector – Southern Scotland

£45,000 – £50,000 + Company Car + Laptop + Phone

The Job

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager to join a well established and growing business supplying specialist solutions into the agricultural sector. This is a field based role focused on developing market presence across Southern Scotland. You will be responsible for driving new business, strengthening existing customer relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to a wide range of agricultural clients. This position would suit a commercially driven individual with strong industry knowledge who enjoys building long term partnerships and working autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the agricultural sector
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets
• Build strong, long term relationships with farmers, contractors and agri businesses
• Represent the business at industry events, shows and exhibitions
• Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a high level of customer service
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity

The Candidate

• Proven sales experience within the agricultural sector
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Commercially driven with a results focused approach
• Ability to work independently and manage a regional territory
• Confident building and maintaining customer relationships
• Well organised with a proactive mindset
• Based within Southern Scotland
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
