Sales Assistant/Warehouse Operative – Aviemore (PH22 1ST)

Responsibilities
- Serve customers on the trade counter by understanding their needs and providing advice and product recommendations
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
- Ensure that all incoming deliveries comply with the delivery paperwork, handle discrepancies appropriately, and put stock away in the warehouse
- Pick and pack items to fulfil customer requirements, involving manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets
- Drive a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to local customers
Qualifications
- A Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential
- Plumbing & heating knowledge is ideal
- Previous face to face sales and customer service experience
- Warehouse experience
- Ability to deliver outstanding customer service
- Team player, happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch
- Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
- Comfortable lifting heavy items
