Sales Assistant
Job Description
Permanent, Part time vacancy 22.5 hours, £12.83 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Help to maintain high standards of visual merchandising throughout the shop
- Assist customers during their visit, from entering the shop to completing purchase
- Actively promote and explain Gift Aid and other promotions
- Complete all company paperwork, including cashing up and banking procedures
- Encourage and assist in training volunteers
- Assist in sorting and preparing donated stock
- Travel to other shops if part of a cluster from time to time
- Support Shop Manager in best practice and Health & Safety procedures
- Be responsible for the daily running of the shop and manage volunteers in Manager’s absence
- Ensure personal behaviour reflects the company’s visions and values
