GP Opportunities in Brae Health Centre (Ref: 244022)

40 hours per week

Salary £83,950 – £125,157 per annum (depending on experience) (inc of 2% local supplement)

Plus Distant Island Allowance of £2,578 per annum

A Relocation Assistance of up to £8,000 available

About the role

NHS Shetland is looking for a full time GP to deliver healthcare in the village of Brae in the beautiful North Mainland. Applicants will be enthusiastic and dynamic and will revel in the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the 2400 strong community served by Brae Health Centre. The Brae practice uses EMIS PCS, with a Pharmacy also based in the Health Centre building. The Primary Care Pharmacy team provide excellent support, and there are regular MDT and palliative care meetings with the wider team.

The core role includes providing medical services in a non-dispensing practice, supported by dedicated staff, which comprises GPs, ANPs, Community Link Workers, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Support Workers and the Practice Admin team. The successful candidate will also be supported to develop their specialist interests.
