Job Description

Retail Sales Assistant – Dunkeld RoadShop, PH1 5BS

You will be given various shifts that change week to week, including weekends when rostered. Rostered hours are between 5am and 5pm, with any 4 days from 7. Standard hours are hours per week; additional hours may be available.

Pay: Up to £12.93 per hour plus an excellent benefits package. Please note an under 18 rate of £10.54 may apply.

We use traditional baking methods to produce the finest, freshest products sold exclusively in our bakery shops. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve customers with a range of hot and cold bakery products and food to go.
• Set up and maintain counter and window displays in line with guidelines.
• Deal with customer pre orders and process payment and paperwork accordingly.
• Take payments for goods using electronic tills, processing cash and card transactions.
• Stock shelves with products.
• Answer queries and provide advice on products to customers.
• Report discrepancies and problems to the management team.
• Clean shop and facilities.

Qualifications and Experience

Ideally you will have:

• Previous food retailing experience or Food to Go.
• Great communication skills.
• Positive, resilient attitude.
• Cash handling experience and working with touch screen tills (we’ll teach you).
• Flexibility to work between Monday and Sunday with any 4 days from 7. Please only apply if you can commit to this schedule.
