Overview
Our warehouse in Elizafield is vital for processing stock and giving us space to store large collections. It is the hub of all our shops and by volunteering as a donations processor you will be helping all our stores to raise vital funds for patient care. Hospice staff and volunteers are expected to reflect our Hospice Values in the way they carry out their roles, and in their interactions with each other, the general public, patients and family members. Our Values are: Care and Compassion, Respect, Trust and Partnership.
Responsibilities
- Physically fit and able to help process stock donations.
- Lifting, moving, carrying, and standing for long periods during shifts.
- Processing stock as trained by the warehouse manager; handling large house collections.
- Sorting bric a brac/household items as required.
- Fast paced work in a relaxed environment; non customer facing role.
Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of clothing brands and interest in collectibles.
- Very organised.
- Ability to work quickly, take instruction, work as part of a team and alone.
- Interested and enthusiastic.
Time Commitment
One afternoon/morning each week or fortnightly. The role will be reviewed yearly.
