Retail Assistant – Full Time
We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Peat Road, Glasgow. We offer a permanent 39 hour full time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week.
Hours & Pay
- Hours: 39 hours across 5 days per week.
- Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour depending on age (16-20 £10.95; 21+ £12.81).

Responsibilities
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Help customers find the items they are looking for.
- Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, help to pack and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
- Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
- Work with the rest of the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
Requirements
- Friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
- Enjoy being busy, able to jump between tasks such as deliveries, till work, customer service, cleaning, stock rotation.
- Reliable; an important part of a small team; dependable on each shift.
- Flexibility for shifts and willing to cover for teammates taking holidays; rota planned three weeks in advance.
- Completion of an employment verification check if successful and offered the advertised position.
