Retail Assistant

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Retail Assistant to join our client, a prestigious organisation in Dufftown, at the heart of the Scottish Whisky Trail. Working within their busy on site gift shop, the successful candidate will greet customers warmly, assist with queries and process payments.

Duties

• Assist visitors in the store with general queries, using brand knowledge to recommend products and introduce upselling opportunities
• Process both cash and card payments
• Take responsibility for the overall housekeeping of the gift shop, ensuring stock is replenished and rotated accordingly

Our Perfect Worker

This is an ongoing temporary role, working between 9am and 6pm. As a 7 day operation, hours will include weekend work and flexibility is required. Experience within a customer service focused role is desirable, but training will be given.
