Join our team at Fairfield House Hotel, a popular destination in the heart of Ayr. We’re looking for enthusiastic and experienced Bar and Restaurant Staff to help deliver exceptional guest experiences. As part of our service team, you’ll greet and seat guests, serve food and drinks, up-sell where appropriate, clear and reset tables, and occasionally assist with functions. You’ll play a key role in ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience.

Part of the award winning, family owned RAD Hotel Group, Fairfield House Hotel combines luxury and comfort with a relaxed atmosphere in a peaceful seaside setting. Located close to Ayr beachfront, the hotel offers stunning coastal views and is a popular destination for dining, weddings, events and relaxing getaways.

What You’ll Be Doing?:

  • Serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
  • Processing payments and handling transactions
  • Providing a warm, welcoming and attentive experience to all guests
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, ensuring that tables and dining areas are clean and presentable
  • Engaging with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders and offering recommendations when needed
  • Upholding food safety standards and adhering to hygiene regulations during food service
  • Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

What We’re Looking For?:

  • We are looking for candidate with a range of availability including midweek, evenings and weekends
  • Must be 18 or over due to licensing laws for the sale of alcohol
  • We love people full of personality and enjoy giving great customer service
  • Flexible to work varying shift patters to cover the business needs
  • Previous restaurant or experience preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Positive and “can do” attitude
  • Professionally presented
