Residential Conveyancing Paralegal

We are recruiting on behalf of a Scottish law firm known for its expert legal, property, and financial services. We are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to strengthen our client’s team based in Edinburgh. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to providing the highest level of advice and service to clients.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Act for clients purchasing new homes from housebuilders and handle the sale of their current properties where applicable.
- Take client instructions promptly to ensure progression of missives within required timescales.
- Attend meetings, taking notes as required.
- Maintain up-to-date client files with all correspondence and documents saved appropriately.
- Maintain regular contact with housebuilders’ agents, sending weekly reports to ensure all parties are updated on progress.
- Draft legal documentation, including reporting on title to clients.
- Handle all aspects of the conveyancing process in purchases, sales, and, where applicable, re-mortgages.
- Manage post-settlement work, with the support of a Conveyancing Assistant.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Paralegal within Residential Conveyancing.
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of client service.
