Within BlackRock’s Global Reporting & Regulatory Solutions function, the setup and continuous generation of periodic investment and accounting reports is handled by Client Reporting.

Client Reporting is at an exciting point in its evolution as we continue to innovate and invest in technology to support our clients’ increasingly sophisticated reporting requirements. We are advancing systems and reporting capabilities, proactively managing emerging risks, and collaborating with partners across the business to deliver implementation and change. Successful candidates will play a significant role in that journey.

Roles will involve the controlled delivery of highly sophisticated investment reporting for BlackRock’s clients and/or the analysis and implementation of new client reporting requirements. No single individual will bring every skill; we value a diverse team made up of complementary strengths.

Qualifications

  • A highly motivated self starter who enjoys learning and working in a fast paced environment, with strong attention to detail
  • A result focused and dynamic work ethic with a passion for problem solving
  • Individuals who can build and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of partners across BlackRock’s technology, data, and business functions
  • Excellent proficiency in communicating effectively through written and oral means
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of VBA, SQL and/or Python is highly desirable
  • Curiosity about using automation and emerging AI tools to improve reporting processes, enhance control environments, and drive efficiency at scale
  • Minimum of 3 years’ financial services experience, with exposure to reporting processes including production, onboarding and/or change delivery
  • Strong data and technical capability, with experience across data ecosystems and automation and AI enabled solutions (e.g. VBA, Python, SQL, workflow tools)
  • Quality and control focus, including implementing data validation checks, audit trails, and maintaining high standards of accuracy within reporting processes
  • Business analysis and change experience, including requirements capturing, translating client needs into reporting solutions, producing process documentation, and supporting structured change control
  • Highly self motivated with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, demonstrating good judgment, organisation, and the confidence to challenge requests appropriately while maintaining effective relationships

Hybrid Work Model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
