We’re looking for a Repairs & Factoring Admin Assistant to join a warm, supportive team and play a key role in delivering an excellent service to factored homeowners.

About the Role

As the Repairs & Factoring Admin Assistant, you will be the friendly and efficient first point of contact for owners, contractors, and internal teams. You’ll support the Factoring Team with a mix of customer service, repairs coordination, and general administration.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for calls, emails, and queries from factored owners

  • Logging and processing repairs, answering repair-related questions, and raising proposed works

  • Supporting the administration of factoring complaints and responding to service queries

  • Providing admin support for Written Statements of Service

  • Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and local authorities

  • Assisting with owners’ meetings and keeping records and property/owner data up to date

  • Issuing welcome packs to new purchasers

  • Taking card payments and setting up/amending direct debits

  • Working closely with the Property Team on repair requests

  • General admin duties to keep the service organised, smooth, and efficient

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment and loves keeping everything running like clockwork.

Essential skills & qualities include:

  • Excellent IT skills, especially Excel

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A customer-centred, confident, and friendly manner

  • Ability to work well across teams and build positive relationships

  • Proactive problem-solving

  • Highly organised, great with record-keeping, and able to manage your own workload

Experience we’d love to see:

  • Background in repairs administration or property services

  • Experience within a factoring service

  • Administration experience within a housing association or property factor

  • Use of property/repairs systems

  • A basic understanding of common technical/property terms
