Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Relay Test Commissioning Engineer
on a 4 month contract, based in Inverness
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Relay Test Commissioning Engineer to support substation commissioning activities in Inverness. The successful candidate will play a key role in testing, commissioning, and verifying protection and control systems to ensure safe and reliable network performance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform relay testing, commissioning, and functional checks
- Validate protection settings and ensure correct operation
- Produce accurate test documentation and commissioning reports
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
Requirements
- Substation experience is essential
- Strong background in relay testing and commissioning
- Ability to work independently and deliver work to a high standard
- Good understanding of protection schemes and associated documentation
- Availability to start Monday 8th December
