Main duties

As a nurse at HC-One, you will build on your existing skill set, practice in a nurse-led environment, and develop complex decision-making and collaborative skills.

Job responsibilities

  • Make a difference to Residents at vulnerable times, guiding and supporting them in life-changing decisions.
  • Work as a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN and uphold the NMC standards of practice.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, and act as practice supervisor and assessor to students.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and role model professional behaviours.
  • Advocate and deliver a person-centred approach to care for Residents and their families.
  • Recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and report any concerns in accordance with safeguarding policy.

About you

To be considered for this role you should be a Registered Nurse with at least 12 months experience in Health or Social Care and hold a valid NMC PIN.

Person Specification

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN and UK qualifications.
  • Minimum 12 months of relevant experience in Health or Social Care.
  • Ability to mentor colleagues and supervise students.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care.
