Responsibilities

  • Provide registered nursing care in a nurse led environment, making complex decisions and collaborating with multi disciplinary teams.
  • Support residents during vulnerable times and guide them in life changing decisions.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, acting as a practice supervisor and assessor for students.
  • Advocate a person centred approach to care for residents and their families.
  • Recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns, report and manage potential abuse, harm or neglect.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Registered Nurse with at least 12 months experience in health or social care.
  • Valid UK NMC PIN and commitment to the NMC standards of practice.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and deliver person centred care.
