Registered Manager – Care at Home
- Location: Aberdeen
- Salary: £30,147.38 – £36,264.07 per year + OTE Bonus
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Join our team as a Registered Manager in Aberdeen, where you will lead and expand our Care Inspectorate-approved Care at Home services. This role is ideal for someone ambitious, ready to drive growth, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
Day-to-day of the role:
Operational Management:
- Act as the Registered Manager with the Care Inspectorate.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
- Lead the recruitment, induction, supervision, and development of care staff.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, quality audits, and service delivery.
- Manage complaints, incidents, and inspections effectively.
Business Development:
- Build and maintain relationships with Social Work teams, NHS services, hospitals, GP practices, and care brokers.
- Generate new business and secure care packages.
- Conduct care assessments and manage client enquiries.
- Represent the company at networking and community events.
- Support local marketing activities and maintain online business profiles.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- SVQ Level 4 Health & Social Care and Leadership & Management for Care Services (SCQF Level 9) or equivalent.
- Eligibility for SSSC Manager Registration.
- Proven management experience within a Care at Home/Domiciliary Care service.
- Strong understanding of Care Inspectorate requirements.
- Experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
- PVG for Regulated Work with Adults.
- Proficiency in IT and experience using electronic care systems.
