A well-established UK ground investigation contractor is seeking a Regional Manager (Scotland) to take full ownership of its Scottish GI operation – a mature, profitable business with annual turnover of 3-4 million and a secure forward workload.

The Opportunity
Reporting to a core business director, you will be responsible for the strategy, leadership and performance of the Scottish Ground Investigation business.
You will lead an established GI team, provide clear direction and commercial discipline, and ensure the region continues to operate safely, profitably and sustainably, while developing capability for future growth.
You will also act as the senior manager responsible for the region’s office and depot operations.
Your Key Accountabilities
- Setting the standard for health, safety and quality, and driving continuous improvement
- Ensuring safe, profitable delivery of all GI projects across the region
- Developing and executing regional business plans, budgets and forecasts
- Producing clear, accurate monthly management and commercial reports
- Identifying and managing contractual risk and opportunity across live projects
- Ensuring full contractual entitlement through robust commercial control
- Overseeing technical, contractual and commercial review of major tenders
- Leading, developing and retaining a high-performing regional team
- Collaborating with senior leadership to align regional and group strategy
- Maintaining safe, efficient operation of the regional office and depot
