Regional Fibre Engineers Multiple Locations (Caithness / Inverness / Highlands / Fort William)

We re looking for friendly, hands-on, and customer-focused individuals to join the installations team. Whether you already have experience or are looking to build a career in fibre engineering, full training can be provided, making this a fantastic opportunity to enter a fast-growing industry.
As a Fibre Engineer, you will be on the front line of the service, installing full-fibre connections directly into customers homes and businesses. Working as part of a busy and supportive team, you ll play a key role in the rapid rollout of ultrafast broadband across rural towns and villages.
What You ll Be Doing
- Carrying out excavation works within customer properties (including gardens)
- Installing Fibre to the Premises (FTTP), including pulling and blowing cables through underground networks
- Planning and agreeing cable routes with customers before starting work
- Clearing blockages using safe, controlled excavation techniques
- Working on overhead networks where required
- Completing internal installations, including fitting customer equipment (CPE)
- Testing connections to ensure everything is fully operational
- Explaining the service to customers and ensuring they feel confident using it
- Delivering a high-quality experience that encourages positive customer feedback
- Supporting occasional evening and Saturday work as required
What You ll Bring
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach
- A practical mindset and willingness to carry out manual work
- Comfort working at height and in outdoor environments
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
- A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
- This role would suit experienced fibre engineers, construction workers or anyone who likes to work outside.

Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £28,500 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience) Overtime is available
- Benefits: Discretionary Quarterly Bonus, Subsidised Gym Membership, 32 Days Holiday, 5% Enhanced Employer Pension Contribution, cycle to work scheme, 24/7 Employee Assistant Programme, Paid accommodation if working away from home.
