Refrigeration engineer
1 x Glasgow
Basic salary £35,000 – £41,500/ door to door travel/42.5 hour week/ call out 1 in 4 – £200 standby per week/ Overtime/ 32 days holiday inc BH/ private use of van
The company: We are a leading national provider of engineering solutions across Refrigeration, HVAC, M&E and building services sectors who have been established for over 75 years. We currently have a team of over 300 services engineers UK wide, working on a regional basis across contracts such as supermarkets, hospitals, mortuaries and distribution centres to name a few.
We are currently seeking an experienced refrigeration engineer to join our team to work across commercial sites across the central belt of Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, reactive maintenance and breakdown of refrigeration equipment
- Working with packs, integrals, display cabinets and cold rooms
- Conducting regular maintenance checks and identifying faults
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
- Providing expert advice and guidance to clients
- Field based meeting clients – Customer facing position
Qualifications
- FGAS cat 1 or NVQ level 2 refrigeration & air conditioning (desirable)
- Previous experience with commercial refrigeration equipment
- Full UK Driving Licence
Package:
- Basic salary £35,000 – £41,500 dependant on experience
- Door to door travel
- 5 hour working week
- 1 in 4 call out – £200 standby per week
- Overtime paid at £25.00 per hour
- Potential uplift up to £2,000 per annum
- 24 days holiday + 8 Bank holidays
