Recycling Centre Operative – Traffic Control & Weighbridge

Job Description

City of Edinburgh Council is recruiting Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) Operatives to support sites across Edinburgh, including Bankhead in the West and Seafield & Craigmillar in the East.

This 36 hour week operates on a 4 days on / 4 days off pattern that includes weekends, with a supplemental payment in addition to the advertised wage.

Responsibilities include helping the public, directing traffic, guiding waste disposal, weighing vehicles, and keeping sites clean and safe.
