The Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Eday Branch of Orcades Practice. The Receptionist plays a key role for the Eday Surgery, undertaking duties which include using the clinical system for patient administration, taking calls and providing a welcoming environment.
The Receptionist will be required to perform a wide range of administrative tasks with minimum supervision while ensuring workload is processed efficiently and effectively.
The Candidate
This post involves dealing with sensitive information therefore confidentiality is a key element of this role. The successful candidate will be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and will have previous experience in dealing with the public.
Location, Working Pattern and Contract Duration
Location: Eday GP Practice
Working pattern: Part Time – 9 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Condition of employment: you must live and remain a resident within the UK.
Benefits and Salary
The salary for this post is Band 2 and if residing on Orkney, you’ll also receive a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,719 pro rata per annum.
