Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Quantity Surveyor, ideally with M&E experience, to join our client’s team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our renewable energy projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and contributing to the success of our initiatives.
- Conducting cost analysis and preparing project budgets for renewable energy ventures.
- Collaborating with project teams to gather and analyse project data for accurate cost estimations.
- Managing procurement processes, including tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Conducting regular site visits to assess progress and identify any potential financial risks.
- Evaluating and assessing variations to contracts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and market trends.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the building services or renewable energy sector.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in the use of relevant software and tools.
- Demonstrated interest in renewable energy and sustainability.
- Proactive and adaptable with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
Salary and Benefits:
