Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Quantity Surveyor, ideally with M&E experience, to join our client’s team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our renewable energy projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and contributing to the success of our initiatives.


  • Conducting cost analysis and preparing project budgets for renewable energy ventures.
  • Collaborating with project teams to gather and analyse project data for accurate cost estimations.
  • Managing procurement processes, including tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Conducting regular site visits to assess progress and identify any potential financial risks.
  • Evaluating and assessing variations to contracts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and market trends.


  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the building services or renewable energy sector.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in the use of relevant software and tools.
