Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction team delivering high-quality Commercial Refurb/New Build projects across Scotland. This is a permanent role offering long-term career development within a well-established and forward-thinking business.
The role
- Managing all commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account
- Preparing cost plans, budgets, valuations, and forecasts
- Procuring subcontractors and managing contractual arrangements
- Monitoring project costs and identifying risks and opportunities
- Working closely with site teams, clients, and external consultants
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining strong commercial control and professional standards.
About you
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
