Job Description

First Task Professional are currently working with regional Fitout Contractor to source a quantity surveyor for their busy team in Central Scotland. The business is involved with numerous framework agreements, as well as directly negotiated projects, giving them a strong order book for the coming year.

Reporting to the company s Commercial Manager, the ideal candidate will come from a general build/fit-out background. Project value ranges from £150k-£4m.

Key Accountabilities

  • Commercial management of a number of live schemes (site measurement, bonus calculations, subcontract procurement, valuations, internal reporting etc.)
  • Agreement and negotiation of final accounts
  • Ability to drive best value and maximise profitability of all packages.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of a relevant Bsc or equivalent (3 years PQE)
  • Experience of working within fast-paced fit out sector, is preferable but is not essential
