Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Livingston
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Quality and Metallurgy Manager in achieving business goals.
- Maintain accurate records and databases for the department.
- Identify, develop, and implement process improvements.
- Ensure all work meets internal and external customer expectations for delivery and quality.
- Adapt and move between work areas as needed.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks requested by the Senior Management Team.
Key Role Description:
- Maintain quality databases, including metrics for Process Right First Time, the nonconformance system (Infoflo), and databases for customer concessions, rework, and scrap.
- Administer the specification library and oversee the specification review process.
- Manage department records, procedures, and work instructions.
- Assist with the administration of Commercial and HSE documents and records as needed.
- Review and manage test certifications.
- Create spreadsheets to compile test data.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential.
- Familiarity with the Infoflo system is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the Inforouter system is beneficial.
- Ability to understand process and product certification.
