Job Title: Quality Manager

Salary: £40k to £45k
Protea Recruitment is partnering with a leading Food Manufacturer to recruit a skilled and experienced Quality Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
- Extensive Quality Management experience within the Food Manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of working with companies that supply major retailers.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
The Role:
- As Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety across the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all quality and food safety processes to ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer expectations, and legislative requirements.
- Leading the development and implementation of QMS to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Managing and delivering training programmes to ensure all staff are competent and up-to-date on quality processes and standards.
- Collaborating with internal teams to identify and implement solutions that enhance product quality and operational performance.
- Maintaining and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor system effectiveness and highlight areas for improvement.
- Preparing for and participating in external audits conducted by regulatory authorities and third-party auditors.
