In this role, you will join the team as a Quality Assurance Analyst, where you will play a key role in enhancing performance and ensuring high standards across quality control processes. You will determine, negotiate and agree internal quality procedures, service standards and specifications to support the delivery of consistent, high quality outcomes, and work closely with stakeholders to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities and contribute to a strong control environment.

Responsibilities

  • Determine, negotiate and agree internal quality procedures, service standards and specifications to improve performance and quality.
  • Develop and govern internal quality assurance procedures, standards and specifications, acting as a catalyst for change, mitigating risks and maintaining efficient operations.
  • Conduct service quality assessments, monitor quality objectives set by the bank and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify areas for improvement, provide recommendations for change in quality assurance processes and deliver feedback and coaching to colleagues.
  • Develop reports and presentations on quality assurance performance and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives to improve quality assurance efficiency and effectiveness, and determine risk based on QA review outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience within Financial Crime, with a solid understanding of associated processes and controls.
  • Proven experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance environments.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and reporting.
  • Some other highly valued skills: an ICA qualification (or equivalent), strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of tasks.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Key critical skills may include risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital & technology.
